Bobby and Johnna Duncan have experienced first hand Bentonville’s rapid growth and expansion for nearly two decades.  Based on their long-term commitment to the community, they wanted to contribute something new and complementary to Bentonville’s already-bustling retail and entertainment offerings. In 2017 they bought the assets of a small cigar & pipe store with a vision for transforming it into something much more vibrant and aligned with Bentonville’s direction.  After much consideration and planning, Bobby and Johnna decided to take a completely new, ground-up approach in order to bring their vision to life.  After 6 months of construction and development, The Cigar District opened in April 2019.  The Cigar District is housed in a 2-story 3,850 square foot purpose-built facility.  The first floor features an upscale retail area, customer lounge, and outdoor courtyard.  In the non-smoking retail area, customers will find cigars, pipes, and men’s gifts. The second floor is a members-only space called The Refuge.  The Refuge features a member’s lounge with stocked wet bar, private meeting room, two restrooms, catering kitchen, humidified lockers, and rooftop patio.
